    Jenny: Aliens are always mysterious (神秘的) to us. In my mind, aliens are very dangerous because we don't know them very much. So, if I meet an alien, I will run away from him{#blank#}1{#/blank#}I can. I don't want to be killed by him. If I'm{#blank#}2{#/blank#}and get caught by him, I will keep cool and then try my best to{#blank#}3{#/blank#}. I won't risk my life to get along with the alien, even if he seems{#blank#}4{#/blank#}. I am too frightened to meet them.

    Tom: If I have a chance to meet an alien, I will feel very lucky. I believe that everyone has{#blank#}5{#/blank#}living on other planets. I want to make friends with the alien. I want to know more about the life on his planet. I will ask him about the{#blank#}6{#/blank#}between the Earth and his planet.     Thanks for telling me all {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the Chinese Moon Festival. It sounds like you enjoyed a great party in Inner Mongolia (内蒙古) . It makes me think of the festival we took part in {#blank#}3{#/blank#} we traveled in South Africa. The people there kept many goats (山羊) , as well as sheep and cows. Beef was expensive and was only for very {#blank#}4{#/blank#} "times. In all our time there we were {#blank#}5{#/blank#} served beef in the villages, because beef is not usually served to {#blank#}6{#/blank#}

    By the way, I happened to see these pictures and thought you'd like to see {#blank#}7{#/blank#}. A Chinese girl gave Tang Suit to Joan and me when she left school. We {#blank#}8{#/blank#} them on in the university car park. Someone took photos for us though I was wearing my kilt (苏格兰短褶裙) ! It seemed to be {#blank#}9{#/blank#}， different that some suggested that I could start a new look.

    We wore Tang Suit to a dinner which was held on the ship in August when we visited Germany. Some Chinese ladies came and spoke to us. They were interested in my traditional Chinese clothing.

    Many years ago, there was a family named Franklin. They lived in Boston. There were five girls and six boys in the family. On a January day in 1706 another baby was born. The boy's mother and her husband gave the boy a {#blank#}1{#/blank#} —Benjamin. Benjamin was the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} of all the children. He could read when he was five and he could write when he was seven. The next year his parents sent him to {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. At school Benjamin was good at reading and writing, but not good at math. He read all of his father's {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. And when he had money, he {#blank#}5{#/blank#} went to buy books. He liked books. They told him {#blank#}6{#/blank#} to do something. The boy liked to use his head and tried to {#blank#}7{#/blank#} ways to help people enjoy life more. For example, he tried to know if there was some way to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} farther, maybe with something on his hands or feet. Slowly a picture of swimming shoes, or paddles, grew in his {#blank#}9{#/blank#}. The paddles must be neither too{#blank#}10{#/blank#} nor too small. And they must be neither too heavy nor too light. At last he invented the paddle for swimming.
