    Rose is one of the funniest girls in her class. She {#blank#}1{#/blank#} like a boy, and she is good at performing. So she {#blank#}2{#/blank#}to play Harry Potter by her classmates last week. She said happily, " I'm sure that I am able to do the job well because I {#blank#}3{#/blank#}the book many times already."

    Dick, one of Rose's best classmates, is also an actor in the play. He likes to perform the play with Rose. He said, "We are confident that we {#blank#}4{#/blank#} well in our school art festival next week."

    Everyone in the school is looking forward to {#blank#}5{#/blank#} their performance.

    In our city there is a big {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. There are a lot of {#blank#}2{#/blank#}in it. There are some{#blank#}3{#/blank#} tigers and lions. They like eating  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}and they eat much meat every day.

    There are also two big elephants. Children like to ride {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. The elephants are very{#blank#}6{#/blank#} . They eat lots of grass and bananas.

    In the zoo, we can see many {#blank#}7{#/blank#} of bears(熊), brown bears, black bears and white bears. They are all slow and clumsy(慢而笨拙的). They stand on their back legs(后腿)and lift(举起)their front legs(前腿)to ask for {#blank#}8{#/blank#}. They like cakes very much.

    Do you like pandas? They are a symbol of China now. But there's only {#blank#}9{#/blank#} in the zoo. Her name is Lingling. She is very cute. She {#blank#}10{#/blank#} eating bamboo(竹子)very much. She is kind of shy. She's very interesting and lovely.

    Bill and Cathy wanted to go on a holiday. They chose a place called Maldives（马尔代夫）. And they decided {#blank#}1{#/blank#} there for two weeks in spring，because the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} there was perfect at that time. They thought they would have a {#blank#}3{#/blank#} trip. But their tip was more like a nightmare（噩梦）!

    The plane {#blank#}4{#/blank#} off twelve hours later because of the bad weather. And they couldn't fly to Maldives {#blank#}5{#/blank#} there was a storm. They had to fly to the capital city instead. There they stayed in a small hotel near the airport.

    The hotel was next to the sea, {#blank#}6{#/blank#} the sea was so dirty that they couldn't swim in it. The food in the hotel was awful, too. For breakfast there {#blank#}7{#/blank#} only bread and milk! Because of the bad weather, they had to stay {#blank#}8{#/blank#} another night in the small hotel. And they had {#blank#}9{#/blank#} to do. It was so boring. {#blank#}10{#/blank#} , they arrived in Maldives three days later. And someone told them the weather there had been wonderful all the time!
