Why do I want to go to college? No one has ever asked me such a question. But many times I have asked {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. I have come up with a whole variety of reasons. The most important reason is that I want to be a better man.

    Many things make {#blank#}2{#/blank#} different from or better than animals.

    One of the most important things is education. If I fail to receive higher education, my education will not finish. As I want to be a fully developed man, I must get a well-rounded education. Good colleges and universities are {#blank#}3{#/blank#} to provide it. I know one can get educated in many ways, but colleges and universities are among the best places to teach me how to educate myself. When I am well-educated, I will be able to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} fit into society.

    The girl's mother was so {#blank#}1{#/blank#} that she asked her friend, who was an artist, for help. The artist had pity on the young girl who was dying and he felt that he must do something to help the girl. In order to save the young girl's life, the artist {#blank#}2{#/blank#} to draw many leaves and hung them on tree branches by stealth(悄悄的行动).

    The young girl was {#blank#}3{#/blank#} to see that the tree came into leaf again the next day. She began to feel pretty hopeful about her future and began to receive treatment. She made a quick recovery(恢复) from her illness. She was out of hospital {#blank#}4{#/blank#} months later. From then on, she lived a happy life.
