Fill in the blanks with proper words

Last August I went to Tom's farm to help him. August is the btime of the year for farmers, because it is then that they have to cut the corn. It is also the time I had chosen for my holiday, so I decided to do something twas useful and at the same time quite different from my work at the office in London. Luckily the weather was fine during two weeks on the farm.

One cannot cut the corn when it is wet, because it will go bad when one piles it up if it is not dry. The farmers have to wait for sunshine, and then cut and dthe corn quickly before rain comes.

My job in the fields was to throw the corn onto the high carts pulled by two huge horses each. Luckily I am quite a strong man, so that I was ato satisfy my critical fellow-workers, who were mostly men and had done this kind of work all their lives. When I woke up the next day, I was so tired that I could hstand up after all the work I had done the day before. This was not surprising of course. However, by the time I walked out to the field, I had become stronger and h.Of course, I also grew hungrier day by day, but luckily there was good food in large quantities to eat on the farm, and I would always take more t I used to when I worked in the office.
