As a student, what does it mean " to be good"? TheCode of Conduct for Primary and Middle School Students (《中小学生守则》) holds the answer.

    Last year, a new draft (草案) code came{#blank#}1{#/blank#}, replacing the old content. There are some important {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. Big phrases like"have deep love for your motherland, the people and the Communist Party of China" are not there anymore. The new code tells students to respect the national flag and national emblem (国徽){#blank#}3{#/blank#}. It also {#blank#}4{#/blank#}students to "know about China's history".

    Also, the new code asks students to "lead alow-carbon (低碳的){#blank#}5{#/blank#}"，"takepart in voluntary work"， and "control the time you spend online". The change on brave actions {#blank#}6{#/blank#}draws attention. The old code told students to act bravely when they saw people {#blank#}7{#/blank#}rules. But the new code asks students to learn to protect {#blank#}8{#/blank#}and ask for help.

    Many teachers are {#blank#}9{#/blank#}to see these changes. Students say they know{#blank#}10{#/blank#}to do when they face some problems.

    Rick is a fat man. He gets up late（晚）{#blank#}1{#/blank#}the morning . He has a {#blank#}2{#/blank#}breakfast every morning.     Students surely like vacations. But when I ask some students what they usually do on summer vacation. Their answers {#blank#}1{#/blank#} me really surprised(感到惊讶) a lot. Some students say they just stay at home and play computer games all day. Some say they have many {#blank#}2{#/blank#} in summer school. Many students don't even(甚至) like the vacation because they think their vacation is not really fun but {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. The summer vacation this year is coming soon. Do you want to have a better {#blank#}4{#/blank#}? Here are some tips (建议)for you.

    First, find out what you are interested in and join some clubs. Next, it's just right for {#blank#}5{#/blank#} some time and money on some trips. Learn to be friendly {#blank#}6{#/blank#}you meet new friends. If your parents take you to other countries, try to learn a second language.Take some photos {#blank#}7{#/blank#} the beautiful places along the way. Finally, remember to finish your homework on time and know something about your lessons in Grade Eight.
