Mr. Wood：Jenny, what do you do before breakfast?

Jenny：I brush my teeth.

Mr. Wood：Why?

Jenny：Because I want strong and healthy teeth.

Mr. Wood：What do you do after dinner?

Jenny：I do my homework.

Mr. Wood：How often do you play basketball?

Jenny：Three times a week.

    Mr. Jones teaches history. He is a very good teacher. During this year, most of his students got at least a C on the tests and there were many A's. On the last test, however, Mr. Jones got a big surprise. He wrote down all of his students' scores. Then he counted the number of students that got between 91 and 100. There were only two! Only two students got A's! He found out that there were only a few B's and C's. Most of the students in his class got a D or and F on the final test. Mr. Jones looked at the test again. He thought that it was too hard. He decided to give every student 10 more points. Then many of the students got good grades on the test. What a nice teacher!

    Shanghai changes a lot in transportation(交通).

    In the past, there were few cars. Now there are many kinds of cars. There were not any bridges above the Huangpu River. Now there are some bridges on it. There were no tunnels(隧道)under it.

    There were no undergrounds. Now there are many undergrounds. There were no light rails(轻轨)and maglevs(磁悬浮). Now there are some lights and maglevs.

    The changes make our lives more convenient(方便). I like the changes.

    A man finds a seat on a train, but there's a bag on it. So he asks the woman beside the seat, "Is there anyone here?"

    "Yes. He II be back soon!" the woman answers.

    The man is very tired. He sits down and says, "I will sit till(直到) he comes back!"

    Ten minutes later, the train starts to move.

    "Oh, poor guy. He misses the train, but he can't lose his bag." After saying these words, the man throws the bag out of the window.

    "It's my bag!" the woman shouts out, but it's too late.

     Mary is a very nice girl. She studies well. Her teachers and classmates all like her. She can jump high and far. She can run fast. But she can't play basketball and football. She can draw and sing well. She can wash clothes and make the bed. But she can't cook meals.
