Li Dong is a schoolboy. He's twelve. He lives in Beijing. He gets up at 6:30. He reads English and Chinese in the morning. He has breakfast at 7:00. In the afternoon, he has three classes. He often does the homework after dinner. Li Dong likes playing football. His mother's hobby is planting flowers. His father is interested in collecting stamps. He often shows the nice stamps to Li Dong and his mum. They like the stamps very much.

    Shanghai changes a lot in transportation(交通).

    In the past, there were few cars. Now there are many kinds of cars. There were not any bridges above the Huangpu River. Now there are some bridges on it. There were no tunnels(隧道)under it.

    There were no undergrounds. Now there are many undergrounds. There were no light rails(轻轨)and maglevs(磁悬浮). Now there are some lights and maglevs.

    The changes make our lives more convenient(方便). I like the changes.

    Our classroom is bright and dean. But it is not big. There are twenty-three desks and chairs in it. They are new. There's a big desk in the front of the classroom. It's for our teachers.

    There are five pictures on the right wall. There's a map of the world and a map of China on the left wall. Beside the window there's a bookshelf. There are many books on it.

    Our classroom is very nice. We have lessons here. We like our classroom.

Jack: Hello, Sally. What time is it now?

Sally: It's 8:30.

Jack: It's time for maths class. Where is the classroom?

Sally: It's on the first floor.

Jack: Do you have a playground?

Sally: Yes, we do.

Jack: Great. I can play football after class.

Sally: You can't play it today. It's rainy outside.

    Today is my birthday and the weather is sunny and warm. I go to the shop with my parents. My old dress is too small so my mother buys me a new one. The new dress is beautiful but it's too expensive. At noon, we have a big meal. And then we go to my uncle's farm. There are many animals. My uncle gives a little rabbit to me as the birthday present. I love it very much. We go home at six o' clock in the afternoon. We all have fun today.
