    Last week I went to visit to my former neighbor, Mr. Yang. He and I used to living next to each other for many years. About half a year ago, an order came which the old building, along with many other similar ones, were going to be pulled down to make room for a main street.

    So I had to move apart. Mr. Yang now lives in the suburbs near a beautiful park. His new apartment is much big than before. The only problem is that it took quite a long time to get to the downtown area. Therefore, Mr. Yang doesn't seem to worry about the long distance.     Recently, our class have a heated discussion about Charles Gray, an ex-millionaire, who has turned his back on his millions and find different ways to be happy in her life.

    Some students thought he was wrong to give up his huge house and $2 millions. Without money, his life would be like to be hard. In fact, it is money who has the most important role to play in happy life.

    Other didn't agree with this point of view. They thought Charles was happy live in a small dormitory where there was only a second-hand furniture. It was very great of him to be determined to give all his money out to charities. They believed people which had only a little money were freer and much happier.

    I am very luckily to have the opportunity to see so many place, but sometimes I experience culture shock when I see or do something new. Dad and I now are travelled through Denmark, Norway and Sweden. I used to thinking that these countries are the same, but not any more. People in Denmark are a bit of friendlier, while Norwegians and Swedes prefer not to talk to strangers. I'm surprised to learn that many people there speak English in addition their national languages. In Sweden, it seems that anyone has golden hair and blue eyes. I feel a little strange with my black hair and dark eyes. I imagine this is that foreigners feel when they visit China!

    When it comes to the TV, there will be different word in different persons' minds. Some people think that watch TV is a good way to relax. Finally, we can predict that may happen in the future and be prepared. Therefore, every coin has its two sides. There are also disadvantages of watching TV. Not only do it do harm to our eyesight, but it also has a bad affect on our studies. We should treat to it in a right way.

    Two months ago my mother and I were walking home from shopping while we noticed a small dog lying sill on the middle of the road. How danger it was! We got closely to him and found that he was badly injured. Saw the poor dog, we decided to help him. Immediately we called a taxi and send him to an animal hospital, where he was examined and received treatment. After staying in hospital for few days, he became good enough to walk. Then we took him home and looked after him carefully until he was fully recovered. Now he is already an important member of our family and brings ourselves a lot of happiness.
