    When I was in the middle school, I got into an argument with a boy in my class. The teacher (decide) to teach us a very important lesson.

    She brought us up to the front of the  ['kla:sru:m]and placed him on one side of her desk andon the other. In the middle of her desk was a large, round object. I could (hard)see that it was black. She asked the boy what color the object was. "White," he[' a:nsa(r)d]

    I couldn't[bɪ'liːv] he said the object was white, when it was clearly black! Another argument started between my classmate and me, this time about theof the object.

    The teacher told me to stand where the boy was standing and told him to come stand where I had been. We changed(place), and now she asked me what the color of the object was. I had to answer, "White."

    It was an object with two differently colored sides, and from his viewpoint (视角) it was. Only from my side it was black.

    I have always remembered the lesson I learned that day. Sometimes we need to look at the problem from the other (person) viewpoint in order to truly understand his/her view.

    He met her at a party. She was excellent. After the party, he invited her for coffee. She was surprised. So as not to appear rude, she went along.

A man who can admit(承认) that he's homesick must love his home and care about his family. He must be responsible. That was the start of their l{#blank#}4{#/blank#} story. They chose to date(约会). And every time she made coffee for him, she put in some salt, the w{#blank#}6{#/blank#} he liked it.

I was so nervous I asked for salt instead of sugar. It was hard for me to ask for a change, so I just went ahead. Many times, I tried to tell you the t{#blank#}8{#/blank#}, but I was afraid that it would ruin(毁灭) everything. Sweetheart, I don't exactly like salty coffee. But as it mattered so much to you, I've learnt to enjoy it. Having you with me was my greatest happiness.
