Our English teacher was like a friend to us, and we all liked her. One day she came 1 the classroom and shouted, “Who did this?” She held up a piece of broken glass and asked, “Who 2 the window?” She seldom became angry. 3 this time she was.

    Jack's love for birds started when he made his first birdfeeder about six years ago. He filled the feeder with seeds (种子), put it in his backyard and then 1 started coming.     Stephen Hawking was born on January 8, 1942 in England. When he was a boy, he 1 to study how things worked. His father wanted him to 2 a doctor, but he didn't want to. He had great 3 in science.

    Hawking got a very serious 4 called ALS at the age of 21. He couldn't walk or speak. Only three of his fingers could move. He could only communicate with others by computer.     On May Day holiday of this year, my parents and I went to the Great Wall. On the way I felt 1, because this was my first visit. I had dreamed 2 this trip many times.
