Sarah Hutchins is a young girl．She has won a prize from Amazon．com in a competition{#blank#}1{#/blank#}young inventors． Sarah invented “ camoculars ”by putting binoculars(双筒望远镜) and a camera together．She was one of thousands of young  people who {#blank#}2{#/blank#}their ideas to Amazon．com the company mat organized the competition．

    Sarah was at a concert when she thought of {#blank#}3{#/blank#}invention．“I was sitting a long way from the stage and I was watching the band through my binoculars．While I was{#blank#}4{#/blank#}，I thought，'I'd love to be able to take a picture of this !”Then I got a(n){#blank#}5{#/blank#}．Why not have binoculars with a camera inside them?”

    When she got home，she {#blank#}6{#/blank#} a pair of binoculars and a  cheap camera  and put them together．Her sister was watching her and told her about the {#blank#}7{#/blank#}．So Sarah sent her idea to Amazon．com and two months later, she got a surprise．

    Amazon．com honed to say that she was a(n){#blank#}8{#/blank#}．They didn't give her the top prize，but she won $1，000 and a trip to New York．

“What are you going to invent{#blank#}9{#/blank#}?”asked some people． “I don't know，” said Sarah．“{#blank#}10{#/blank#}you just sit there and think，you won't invent anything because you get ideas at strange moments．The only thing I can do is keep my eyes and ears open!”

    Is there something strange high up in the world's {#blank#}1{#/blank#} mountains? If so, is it a big bear? Is it monkey? Or is it a kind of man?

    No one knows. This mystery has puzzled the world for years.

    In 1887, a mountain climber found large footprints in the snow. They looked like the footprints of a very large man. But men don't walk {#blank#}2{#/blank#} shoes in the snow!

    In 1906, another climber saw more than footprints. Far off, he saw a very large animal standing on two legs. As he watched, it ran very {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.

Fifteen years later, newspaper had new stories about the "something". A mountain climber said he had seen the "{#blank#}4{#/blank#}" walk slowly across the snow, far below him. He said it looked like a very large man.

    From then on, more and more people had stories to tell. But not until 1951 did a mountain climber bring back of large footprints. "The pictures showed clearly {#blank#}5{#/blank#} the Snowman walked on two legs." So it was not a bear or a monkey. Could it be an ape man? The mystery grew! And the mystery keeps growing. Some day we may {#blank#}6{#/blank#} what it is that makes the large footprints.

    In a hospital, a young girl had been ill in bed for almost two months. Beside her was her mother who looked pale. "Mum, I want to {#blank#}1{#/blank#} at the scenery outside the window!" said the young girl in a low voice.

    With the help of her mother, she came up to the window and looked out of it. The wind was blowing {#blank#}2{#/blank#}；she noticed some leaves falling off a big tree outside the window.

    "I am dying！I will leave the world {#blank#}3{#/blank#} all the leaves fall down." said the young girl. Watching the falling leaves, the young girl couldn't help bursting into {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. From then on, the young girl's illness got worse and worse. In November, the girl's illness took a turn for the worse and she refused the treatment(治疗).

In the future, maybe there won't be any{#blank#}1{#/blank#}. Students will study at{#blank#}2{#/blank#}. They will use computers to{#blank#}3{#/blank#} lessons on the Internet. They can ask their teachers questions{#blank#}4{#/blank#} email. But they won't be{#blank#}5{#/blank#} because they can't make friends at home.
