Mr. White works in an office. He likes  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  (read) in bed before he goes to bed every night. It is bad for his  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  (eye). Now he can't see everything well.  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  he doesn't want anybody to know about it and he doesn't wear glasses. It often brings him some problems. 

{#blank#}4{#/blank#}  a cold morning he goes to a village on business. He gets off a bus at  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  station in a town. Then he has to  {#blank#}6{#/blank#}  (walk) there. The road to the village is not so good. He falls over many times and it  {#blank#}7{#/blank#}  (make) his clothes very dirty. The wind blows strongly and his hat is blown off. He runs after it  {#blank#}8{#/blank#}  (quick) but he can't catch it. He sees his hat run into a room. And then he runs into the room, too. Just then, a big woman shows up and stops  {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  (he) at once. She says angrily, "  {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  are you running after my hen?"
