We know the air is very important for us. Without air, we couldn't live. Other creatures can't live either. We need clean air. The dirty air is bad for us. Now the air pollution is very serious in some places. For example, the smoke from some factories make the air dirty. Exhaust gas from cars make the air dirty. The forest fire can make the air dirty, too. So we need to pay attention to the air pollution. We can plant more trees and think of other ways to sovle the problem.

    I was only nine years old when I learnt how to use a computer．My mother is my first teacher．I know how to type，how to copy a file，and how to visit a website on the Internet．One day，mom was not at home．I turned on the computer and began to learn how to chat on net．The first one I met there was a boy called Tom．He greeted me politely．When he knew that I was only a 9-year-old girl and almost knew nothing about chatting on net，he started showing me how to use the chatting tools，how to download，and how to send e-mails．I learnt a lot from him．

    Rose is a middle school student. She likes English very much and she does well in it. She often tells her father about her English. Now she is talking with her father.

Rose: Our English book is very nice. There are many interesting dialogues and nice pictures in it.

Father: DO you speak only English in class or does your teacher explain everything to you in Chinese?

Rose: Oh, no. We speak English for most of the time in class. So I must work hard at it.

Father: That's good! I'm sure you'll study better.

Reporter(记者)：Different people eat different food. Hi, children. Where are you from? What would you like to eat?
