There
have being a lot of changes since World War Ⅱ. But
perhaps the biggest change is a telephone. People no longer write letters to
one another. They picked up the telephone. Every house has at least two,
sometimes three, four, and five telephones. Every office has many telephones.
There have more telephones than people in American. My little house has three
telephones. In the morning the first thing that wakes me up is my telephone
ring. Long distance telephone calls are very cheaper before seven o'clock in
the morning. So my friend in Boston telephones me to say "Good morning".
If you never want to write a letter, you simple pick up the telephone and say
that you want to say.
