An old man lived alone in his old house. He hardly ever went out．He wouldn't {#blank#}1{#/blank#}with others．One day， a little boy setting{#blank#}2{#/blank#}knocked (敲)at the old man's door .The door slowly opened.     About three years ago, I felt very {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.I didn't like my classmates ,my parents or anyone else. My classmates didn't want to talk {#blank#}2{#/blank#} me and my parents were always saying that other kids were better than me .I thought I was the most unlucky person in the world.

    One day I had a big fight with one of my {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. I was so angry that I hit him in the face .Just at the moment ,a boy stood up and stopped the fight .He was the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} of our class. After that ,he often helped me and we {#blank#}5{#/blank#} good friends . The whole world is connected. The Internet is making the world smaller, like a village.

    One day the Prince of Wales wanted to go hunting with his men. He told his dog, Gelert, to stay at home and {#blank#}1{#/blank#} after his baby son. The baby was in a wooden cradle, which was {#blank#}2{#/blank#} a small bed.

    When the Prince came back from hunting, Gelert ran out to meet his master. He wagged his tail and {#blank#}3{#/blank#}up to put his paws on the Prince's chest. Then the Prince saw the blood on Gelert's jaws and head.

   "What have you done?" the Prince said. He rushed into his house and looked for his baby son. The cradle was lying on its side on the floor. The clothes were torn and there was {#blank#}4{#/blank#}on them.

   "So you have killed my son?" the Prince said{#blank#}5{#/blank#}."You unfaithful dog!" He took out his sword and killed the dog. Just as Gelert was dying, he managed to bark. Then the Prince heard a baby{#blank#}6{#/blank#} to the dog.

    The Prince ran back into the house and saw his son {#blank#}7{#/blank#} on the ground unhurt. Near him was a dead wolf. Then the Prince knew that Gelert had defended the baby and killed the wolf.

    The Prince ran back into the house but he was too late. Gelert was {#blank#}8{#/blank#}. The Prince was very sad indeed. Tears ran{#blank#}9{#/blank#} his face when he realized he had killed his faithful friend. The Prince carried the body of his brave dog to the top of a mountain and buried him there. After this, the Prince never smiled again. Every morning at dawn, he walked up the mountain and{#blank#}10{#/blank#} by the dog's grave for a few minutes.

    For many people, personal privacy(独处) is very important, In many homes, a few minutes in the bathroom is all the privacy that is available.

    Teenagers especially need their own personal space at home where they can feel relaxed and private. But, of course, not all teenagers are lucky enough to have a room {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. Parents can, however, make sure that there are enough storage spaces such as shelves, cupboards and boxes. This will allow the teenagers to keep their space tidy if they want to.
