Li Ang lived in a small village in Sichuan, China. He had not seen his father for three years because his father worked in cities.

    In his village, there were over 60 left-behind children just  him. Their parents all moved to big  (city) to work without them. In order to make these children's New Year's wishes (come) true, a charity held an event. The charity gave many of the children teddy bears, toys or games to cheer them up over the festival period.  for Li Ang. he reeve the best New Year's gift. His father wanted to give  (he)a surprise, waiting inside a big box during event. When Li Ang opened the box only to find his father  (sit) inside, he cried with joy.

    More than 60 million children in China grow up without their parents. These children(usual) live in poor places with their grandparents, while their parents work in the cities to make money. The children's mothers and fathers try to make family life (well) by taking a city job than staying at home. So they had to leave their children behind, "Everyone  (have) mom and dad, but I don't," Li Ang said, "I hope my parents can stay with me.”
