According to a study by some organizations, more than half of the things in the world are made in China. And these things are all about people's {#blank#}1{#/blank#} life.

    In order to truly understand {#blank#}2{#/blank#} so many things are made in China, you have to understand the history. China is one of the {#blank#}3{#/blank#} countries with rich civilization on the earth for thousands of years. Chinese people have made a lot of things very smartly. Usually it would take westerners and other {#blank#}4{#/blank#} 100 more years to find out how to make them. They have clever minds and work hard, so you can see that so many things {#blank#}5{#/blank#} made in China.

    If you study Goldman Sach's report on the future, you will see that China will take charge of (控制) a quarter of the {#blank#}6{#/blank#} GDP in the near future.  {#blank#}7{#/blank#}some big companies are moving to other countries from China, China is making more products with fine quality(质量), as {#blank#}8{#/blank#} as Japan, the USA and Europe.{#blank#}9{#/blank#}20 years or so, people will not look for a Ferrari(法拉利), but a Chinese car that no one has heard of yet.

    China isn't just making products. It's helping people in the world {#blank#}10{#/blank#} better.

B: It's on October 31.

A: Yes. But do you know what people do on that day?

B: Of course. They {#blank#}2{#/blank#} and dress up.

A: I hear that children love Halloween best.

It can give people warm feelings, show your respect to {#blank#}3{#/blank#}Since a smile is a positive (积极的) attitude, we can often smile to ourselves to become {#blank#}4{#/blank#}and happy. Although there are some situations where we may experience hardship or even {#blank#}5{#/blank#}, we can always smile to ourselves. It can help us {#blank#}6{#/blank#}many difficulties as well as succeed in the end. Learning to {#blank#}7{#/blank#} to others is also beneficial. When we smile to others, we can get a smile in{#blank#}8{#/blank#}. Then it can put us in a good mood. What's more, it can also help us build a good relationship with others. In one word, smiling is a {#blank#}9{#/blank#}which can understand us better. Therefore, let's start to smile and live a better and{#blank#}10{#/blank#} life.

    If you want to get the most out of the study of a language, you must also read for pleasure: novels, plays, travel books, and so on. And in reading books of this kind the{#blank#}1{#/blank#}thing is to get on with the reading, to try to grasp(领会){#blank#}2{#/blank#}the writer is going to tell you in the book as a whole. This is impossible if you stop and think over the{#blank#}3{#/blank#}of every single word which happens to be unfamiliar. You cannot enjoy a story if you stop lots of times on every page for{#blank#}4{#/blank#}words in the dictionary. You may even prevent yourself from understanding the story as a whole by doing this.
