Make a life list of animals

Write down the names of ten animals you've seen in the last month. It can be any animal, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} an elephant in a zoo to your pet dog at home. Congratulations! You've just started your "life list" of animals. You can add more {#blank#}2{#/blank#} to your list anytime. You don't have to finish it in a certain time. You can keep adding to it for the rest of your {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.

This idea is borrowed from bird watchers who record the names of all the birds they see. Your list can include {#blank#}4{#/blank#} animal you see, whether it's on land, in the ocean, or in the air. It's like "collecting" your {#blank#}5{#/blank#} animals without disturbing (打扰) them in their natural habitats (栖息地).

If you {#blank#}6{#/blank#} this sounds difficult, you can start with your own backyard. You might be {#blank#}7{#/blank#} at the number of birds, insects and other small animals you can find there!

When you go camping or travel, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} a wildlife encyclopedia (百科全书) or a guide book and a notebook with you. That way, you can add animals from places far away to your list. You can also {#blank#}9{#/blank#} your list on the social media (媒体) with others.

Ask your friends {#blank#}10{#/blank#} their own life lists and share tips for the best places to see wildlife. Comparing {#blank#}11{#/blank#} you've seen is part of the fun! Now, get out and start looking for animals. Happy exploring!
