The new year is always a wonderful time for everybody. People celebrate(庆祝) the new year with parties and special dinners. The new year is also a great time to make (决心). A New Year's resolution is a (诺言) that you make to yourself on the first day of the year. It is a new (开始).

    Next year I am going to take up some  (爱好). I want to learn how to  (用颜料画) and take photos. In my free time, I plan to make money and  (买) anew bike. And I am going to try something new. It is going to be an exciting and great year. I know I'll be  (忙碌的) and happy next year.

    I think my resolutions have to do with my  (计划). What about you? What are your New Year's resolutions? Are you going to  (维持) them? I think you should try to do that. Say to  (你自己), "I can do that!" You should believe that they will happen.
