Sarah Hutchins is a young girl．She has won a prize from Amazon．com in a competition{#blank#}1{#/blank#}young inventors． Sarah invented “ camoculars ”by putting binoculars(双筒望远镜) and a camera together．She was one of thousands of young  people who {#blank#}2{#/blank#}their ideas to Amazon．com the company mat organized the competition．

    Sarah was at a concert when she thought of {#blank#}3{#/blank#}invention．“I was sitting a long way from the stage and I was watching the band through my binoculars．While I was{#blank#}4{#/blank#}，I thought，'I'd love to be able to take a picture of this !”Then I got a(n){#blank#}5{#/blank#}．Why not have binoculars with a camera inside them?”

    When she got home，she {#blank#}6{#/blank#} a pair of binoculars and a  cheap camera  and put them together．Her sister was watching her and told her about the {#blank#}7{#/blank#}．So Sarah sent her idea to Amazon．com and two months later, she got a surprise．

    Amazon．com honed to say that she was a(n){#blank#}8{#/blank#}．They didn't give her the top prize，but she won $1，000 and a trip to New York．

“What are you going to invent{#blank#}9{#/blank#}?”asked some people． “I don't know，” said Sarah．“{#blank#}10{#/blank#}you just sit there and think，you won't invent anything because you get ideas at strange moments．The only thing I can do is keep my eyes and ears open!”

    What will the world be like in the future? In {#blank#}1{#/blank#} idea, a lot of what we see in science fiction(科幻) films {#blank#}2{#/blank#} true.

    I think there will be flying cars for people to park on—top of {#blank#}3{#/blank#} , lf this happens, there won't be any more traffic jams! I believe that {#blank#}4{#/blank#} houses will be green, as we'll only use the energy {#blank#}5{#/blank#} wind and solar power (太阳能). In the future, I think robots will do most of our {#blank#}6{#/blank#} , so life will be easier. There will be robot teachers too, and children will {#blank#}7{#/blank#} laptop computers(笔记本电脑) to school instead of books. No one really knows {#blank#}8{#/blank#} will happen. All we need to do is to believe in {#blank#}9{#/blank#} . After all, as Albert Einstein once said,”I never think of the future, It comes {#blank#}10{#/blank#} enough."

    Mike is a middle school student. He used to play computer games. He thought he could get a lot of{#blank#}1{#/blank#}from the games. Sometimes he didn't go to school and{#blank#}2{#/blank#}in a net bar all day. The teacher{#blank#}3{#/blank#}his parents and told them that Mike didn't come to{#blank#}4{#/blank#}.After his parents knew he played computer games in net bars, they were{#blank#}5{#/blank#}with Mike and decided not to{#blank#}6{#/blank#}him pocket money any more.
