Spiderman is one of the most famous comic book heroes of all time. He was created by Stan Lee in 1963 and was first introduced to the world in the pages of Marvel comic books.
     Spiderman's story is the story of Peter Parker, a child who lost his parents and lives with his aunt and uncle. Peter is a shy, quiet boy wearing glasses and has few friends. One day, on a high school class trip to a science lab, he gets bitten by a special spider. Soon Peter realizes he has amazing powers: he is as strong and quick as a spider and also has a type of sixth sense. He no longer needs his glasses and he can use his super power to fly through the city streets! Remembering something his Uncle Ben has told him, that "with great power, there must also come great responsibility（责任）," Peter decides to use his powers to fight enemies who do cruel things to people. And so, Spiderman is born.
     Life is not easy for Peter even though he is a superhero. He is in love with Mary Jane but cannot tell her about his amazing powers. Besides, his best friend Harry hates Spiderman! Peter is also short of money and time. He has to sell photos of Spiderman (himself!) to a newspaper and he keeps losing his other jobs because he's so busy saving people! Yet he has to fight different kinds of cruel enemies.

    I think the most terrible thing in life for my little brother is getting up in the morning. He is almost sick when my mother calls, "Herbert! It's seven o'clock! Get up!"

    Herbert answers, "I'm coming!" and goes right back to sleep. I'm not at all like my brother. I don't like to go to bed at night but I don't mind getting up in the morning.

    I usually wake up before my mother calls me. I jump out of bed and go into the bathroom to take a shower. I great dressed, brush my teeth, comb my hair, and get ready to go down stairs for breakfast as soon as my mother calls.

    But not Herbert. He just sleeps. A military band (军乐队) in our bedroom could not wake him up. I call him and say, "Get up!" Mum will be up here to pull you out of bed if you don't get up quickly.

    But he just sleeps. After calling a few more times my mother has to come upstairs and pull Herbert out of bed. It's that way every day with my little brother. Perhaps some day he'll learn to get up on time, but I really don't think so.

A Hello, I'm Cindy. I have three good fricnds. They are Linda, Bill and Bob. Linda likes carrots and bananas. She doesn't like hamburgers or ice-cream. She thinks they are not healthy. She eats two eggs and a banana for breakfast. Bill likes salad and chicken but he doesn't like ice-cream. And he always has chicken and tomatoes for dinner. Bob likes hamburgers and ice-cream. He doesn't like tomatoes. He has lunch at school. He has hamburgers, fish and oranges for lunch. 

Wendy is good at English and Chinese，but her math isn't good. She doesn't think it's useful. 

One day，the clothes at Wendy's mom's store are on sale，so there are many people. Her mom wants to teach her a lesson，so she asks her to help out at the clothes store. When a woman walks in，Wendy walks to her. The woman says she wants to buy a sweater. After some time，she says， "I'll take this yellow one. What's the price of it？" Wendy says， "It is 800 yuan，but it's on sale. You can take it at half price （半价）. Uh，you need to pay （支付） 400 yuan. " "I see. This is my VIP card. I can get a 20% discount （折扣），right？" "Oh，yes，" Wendy says. "Then，you just need to pay 80 yuan. " The woman looks at Wendy in surprise ， asking， "Are you sure？"

Then，Mrs. Black，Wendy's mom，comes and says to the woman， "I'm sorry. You need to pay 320 yuan，please. " Then，she looks at her daughter and asks， "Now，do you think math is useful？"

I usually find a seat and start reading or sending messages to my friends. Like everyone else, I try not to look at or talk to any people on the train. Then, twenty 1 later, I get off. In fact, my home trip is 2 special. 

But last Tuesday was quite different. I was looking out of the window3 the train suddenly stopped. After five minutes, I found people starting to get a bit 4 . Fifteen minutes later, the announcement(公告) 5 , "Dear passengers, we are sorry we have to 6 two more hours. A train just broke down in front of us. "

There was a loud sigh throughout the train, but soon something 7 happened: All strangers(陌生人) started talking to each other. At first, everyone 8 complained(抱怨) about the trains. Then people started talking about something else. I also began talking to a man 9 work. After that, I walked down the train and 10 to meet a woman who had been a student learning medicine at my school before.

Then, after two hours, we started 14 again. "Hooray!" Everyone got excited and laughed. 

I took the train again on Wednesday, but 15 of my new "friends" were there. Although people were good, they weren't as friendly as the people the day before. I'll never forget the special experience that day.
