There was once a little boy with a bad temper(脾气). He got a easily and often shouted at those who loved him. One day, his father gave him a bag of nails(钉子) and told him, "Every tyou lose your temper, drive a nail into the fence."

    The first day the boy drove 37 nails into the fence. Then the ngot smaller. The boy found that it was eto hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

    F the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father said, "Now, my son, pull o one nail each day when you are able to hold your temper."

When you are in anger, what you do leaves a scar(伤疤) just like this. You can put a knife into a man and draw it out. No matter how many times you say sorry, the wound(伤口) is sthere. A verbal(口头的) wound is as bad as a physical(身体上的) one".
