    Are you ready{#blank#}1{#/blank#}leaving home? You can't help yourself feel less homesick. Here are some helpful ways：

    Bring a little bit of home with you

    If you are going away from home,{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(bring) your pillow or your favorite pajamas（睡衣）. You can also bring {#blank#}3{#/blank#}picture) of the people you'll miss and look at them when you want to.

Keep busy

    The more fun things you do, the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} time you'll have to feel homesick, so you can try to join in some{#blank#}5{#/blank#}（activity）. Even if you are not completely（完全地） into them at first, you might soon start to have a good time.

Stay in touch

    You can plan {#blank#}6{#/blank#} you'll call your mom or dad. If you have a two-day visit, maybe you need to stay out for a night. You'd better call {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(one) that night and again in the morning to make sure your parents know you're safe. With a camping trip, you might set a regular（规律的、定时的） day and time for a phone call home. You can also to stay in touch with your family and friends through the Internet. When you get in touch with someone, be{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(sure) to talk about the funny things you're doing.

Talk to someone when you need to

Sometimes, just telling someone that you're feeling a little homesick will help you feel better. Maybe you can tell a friend that you feel homesick and the two of you can do something fun—- like{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(tell) each other jokes. If you're at camp, a camp teacher would be a good person to talk {#blank#}10{#/blank#}. He or she might have some ways to help you feel better.

    In the United States, lots of young adults are living at home with their parents, according to the Pew Research Center. Pew researchers found that 32 percent of 18-to-34-year-old Americans lived at their {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (parent) home in 2014. That is {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(high) percentage nationwide since 1940.

    More young adults lived at home with their parents than lived with a husband, wife, or partner in 2014. And students will return home after graduation. Hannah Raines plans to move back in with her parents {#blank#}3{#/blank#} she completes her study program at the University. She would like to get a job {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(save) money for graduate school(研究生院).

    Raines' parents, Jim and Juli, already have experience with an adult child returning home. Hannah's twin brother, Dakota, returned home last year after the building {#blank#}5{#/blank#}he lived in was put up for sale.

    "It was very natural," Jim and Juli said. They thought {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(have) their adult children back at home is good for {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(they). The only problem is where all four family members should park their cars.
