One day, a father and his son went to a kite flying festival. When they arrived, there were already many adults and their children playing in the park. A Cloud of Hope and Danger

    A small cloud floats through the air in a hospital operating room(手术室). In the room a patient, suffering from cancer, lies on a table. The cloud surrounds(包围) the patient, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} her body and filling her lungs(肺). The cloud is not smoke or steam. It is made of millions of microscopic robots called nano-robots( 纳米机器人) . These tiny robots move from cell(细胞) to cell in the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} body, destroying the cancer.

    Fighting cancer with nano-robots is only an idea today, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} scientists say that it could be possible in the future. Using nano-robots for good purposes such as fighting disease or repairing the environment may be the{#blank#}4{#/blank#}to many of today's problems.

    However, nano-robots could be a {#blank#}5{#/blank#} risk as well. Since nano-robots are so tiny, they will have to work in large teams of many thousands to many millions. For this reason, nano-robots will have to be programmed to build {#blank#}6{#/blank#} . Scientists will not have the ability to build millions of nano-robots one by one.

    This {#blank#}7{#/blank#} to reproduce is making some scientists worried. What if something goes wrong in the programming?     Many years ago, there was a Greek king named Midas. King Midas loved gold very much. He had more gold than any other king in the world, but he still wanted more.

The king was wild with joy. He ran around his palace and touched everything he saw. Everything was turned into gold!

The king felt hungry after running around for a long time. He decided to have his breakfast. However, {#blank#}4{#/blank#} he touched a bowl of milk, the bowl, together with the milk in it, was turned into gold. What's more, the bread and the meat were also turned into gold when he touched them. In the end, the poor king ate {#blank#}5{#/blank#}.

    King Midas was sitting hungrily at the dinner table when his little daughter ran to him. He hugged her and the little gal became a gold statue (雕塑) {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. The king felt afraid. "Fairy," he shouted, "take away this {#blank#}7{#/blank#} gift! Give me back my little gal!"

    In a moment, the fairy was standing before him. "Do you still think that gold is the greatest thing in the world?" asked the fairy "No, no!" cried the king. "I have learned my lesson!"     The king {#blank#}9{#/blank#} to the spring. He ran back with a bottle of water and sprinkled the water on his {#blank#}10{#/blank#}head. Soon, the little girl came to life. He then sprinkled his breakfast. To his great joy, it turned back to real bread and meat!
