Nancy is from the USA but she   {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  in Shanghai now. She is 12 years old. She {#blank#}2{#/blank#} to Shanghai with her parents because they {#blank#}3{#/blank#} here. Her father {#blank#}4{#/blank#} English in her school and her mother is a doctor.

      Nancy and I are {#blank#}5{#/blank#} .We study in No.21 Middle School in Shanghai. Nancy likes{#blank#}6{#/blank#} school very much. She is nice to others(其他人). She often helps us {#blank#}7{#/blank#} our English and we often help her learn Chinese. Nancy loves {#blank#}8{#/blank#} very much. Every Sunday she has a swimming class with twelve students. She is {#blank#}9{#/blank#} at swimming and she is in the school swimming {#blank#}10{#/blank#} .

    Most students have some problems when they are in junior high schools. Some students worry a lot because their parents want them to be the best. Others don't {#blank#}1{#/blank#} on well with people such as their parents and classmates.

    Jim, a student in a junior high school from Fujian, can't {#blank#}2{#/blank#} what his English teacher says, so he can't do well in English. He even {#blank#}3{#/blank#} others' help.

    Another student, 14 years old, from Guangzhou, is {#blank#}4{#/blank#} of exams. She is very sad. When she looks at the exam paper, she can't think of {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to write.

    Many students don't like asking for help. Some think it will be a {#blank#}6{#/blank#} if they go to ask teachers or classmates. Others don't want to talk about their {#blank#}7{#/blank#} to anyone.

    Then, what is my hobby? Well, what I like most is singing. I {#blank#}2{#/blank#} to sing songs when I was very young. My uncle was {#blank#}3{#/blank#} music in a college then, so he could sing lots of songs, and he taught me several songs. I {#blank#}4{#/blank#} great interests in music then, because they were pleasing to sing and often make me happy.

    When I was at primary school, my music teacher {#blank#}5{#/blank#} that I had a good voice, so she asked my father to send me to the Children's Palace (少年宫) {#blank#}6{#/blank#} music at weekends. From then on, I began my music training. I practised hard and {#blank#}7{#/blank#} prizes one after another in different kinds of competitions. In fact, I dreamed of becoming a famous singer in the future.

    As time went by, I came to know that my dream wouldn't {#blank#}8{#/blank#} true, because there were strict conditions(条件). But now I still take singing as my hobby, because it has {#blank#}9{#/blank#} me very good feelings and an excellent chance {#blank#}10{#/blank#} . Besides, it is a good way to learn things that I can't easily find in life.
