There is a nature park in the southwest of our city. The government built it to{#blank#}1{#/blank#}the rare animals. The nature park has been the{#blank#}2{#/blank#}of our city.

    Yesterday my friends and I{#blank#}3{#/blank#}it. The workers there asked us not to{#blank#}4{#/blank#}animals. Many animals are in{#blank#}5{#/blank#}because people kill them for their meat and fur. Another reason is that people are taking{#blank#}6{#/blank#}their land and{#blank#}7{#/blank#}their water dirty. The{#blank#}8{#/blank#}is becoming very serious.

    I learnt much yesterday. I think people should{#blank#}9{#/blank#}up more comfortable houses for the animals and help them live in{#blank#}10{#/blank#}. We should do our best to protect them, because protecting them is protecting ourselves.

    Ms. Woo came to the US after she {#blank#}1{#/blank#} college in 2008.When in the US, she was often {#blank#}2{#/blank#} to perform paper cutting at all kinds of {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. Soon after, she decided to spread Chinese paper cutting to the rest of the world.

    Ms. Woo said, "I saw so many people coming to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} and asking about paper cutting. I was surprised. Chinese art is for all people. I think it's time to promote(发扬) paper cutting to American people {#blank#}5{#/blank#} anyone who is interested. Perhaps it will also draw more and more Chinese people's attention and make them take an interest in it."

    Pollution is one important topic in China now. Many different kinds of pollution have increased while China is developing itself. Pollution is bad for animals and plants, and it even makes people's health{#blank#}1{#/blank#}. In our daily life, we can see different kinds of pollution in many places.

    Land pollution is{#blank#}2{#/blank#}by solid( 固体) waste, such as cans, bottles and some other things which aren't broken down{#blank#}3{#/blank#}. It makes the environment look very bad.

    However, air pollution is more serious than land pollution. It is much worse in cities and towns because of the fumes(废气) from{#blank#}4{#/blank#}and people's activities. When people drive their cars, fumes, which are mostly made up of CO2, NO2 and SO2, are given off.

    It is hot and wet in Chongqing these days. I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} the weather here but I love the food and scenery(风景). This morning, it was rainy. We didn't have any special {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. My parents and I just stayed at the hotel and I felt really {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. Luckily, it stopped raining at noon. We went to eat {#blank#}4{#/blank#} special- Chongqing hot pot(火锅)for lunch. There is a big {#blank#}5{#/blank#} between Chongqing hot pot and Beijing hot pot. The food here is really spicy(辛辣的) . After lunch, we {#blank#}6{#/blank#} to visit Foreigner Street in Chongqing {#blank#}7{#/blank#} a visitor told us that it was a good place to visit. Foreigner Street is really {#blank#}8{#/blank#}! There are lots of old buildings and nice food from all over the world. We {#blank#}9{#/blank#} Italian coffee, Indian cakes and British tea there.{#blank#}10{#/blank#} was nice and we really had a good time in this street.
