One night, I finished my homework a little earlier than usual. Seeing my parents still being busy with housework, suddenly, one thought came to my mind. I decided to write a note to Mom and Dad. I was a young teenager and it was the first time that I ever wrote something that wasn't school homework. At that moment, I just wanted to let Mom and Dad know I loved them, how much they meant to me, and how grateful I was to them for all that they gave to their daughter. Being too shy to say these things face to face, 1 wrote them down in a note for my parents to find after I went to bed.

Later that night, I heard a gentle knock at my door. Sleepily, I got out of bed and opened the door up. There were Mom and Dad with a look of such love on their faces. Mom and Dad hugged me and thanked me for my note. I even could see tears in Mom's eyes. Seeing the happiness I gave them made my own heart jump for joy. I was amazed that my simple words could touch them so much.

That beautiful memory has stayed alive in my soul(灵魂) ever since. I began to share my stories online with thousands of people all over this world. It reminds me not to be shy about sharing happiness with this world. They can be thanks, hugs and smiles. They can even be a simple note written with love.

All that matters is that you share them in different ways. All that matters is that you use them to make this world more beautiful.

 完形填空

Life isn't always smooth. Everyone has a hard time in their life sometimes. However, some people make life better for themselves and1 for others. Why? They know how to take advantage of the difficulties. This is especially2 for Bradford and Bryan.

When they were young, Bradford and Bryan Manning were found to have a(n)3 . The doctor said they would go blind over a period of time. Now in their thirties, the brothers have both4  their central vision(视力). They see mostly from the corner of their eyes. But while the two brothers may be going blind, their hope of helping others who have problems seeing is getting 5 !

The two brothers love soft clothes. While shopping for clothes, they often have to use their sense of 6 to choose what they want. Because they can't see things clearly, they have 7 a great sense of touch. This helps them to find the softest materials.

As a result, they 8 a clothing company called "Two Blind Brothers". The purpose of the company is to make the softest clothing in the world and 9 all the profits(利润) to help fight blindness. They also offer jobs to blind workers who have difficulty making a living. Now the company is known to more people. Many 10 are glad to buy its products for they love the story behind the company.

As you can see, when life closes a door, it can always open a window, for you, and for others.
