When I was in high school I met my lifelong teacher Margaret. She was a great teacher, she was always {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (幽默的) and kind to us, and we didn't feel {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (紧张的) when we stayed with her.

    One day, Marguerite asked us about our {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (梦想). And I never thought about that question at that time. I was really interested in painting, but I didn't paint very well and I always told myself it was {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (不可能的) to be a painter. So I told Margaret that I want to be an artist. I believed painting could bring me a lot of {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (快乐) although my poor painting never {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (满足) me. {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (也许)I would never have my success in the future.

    The next day Margaret invited me to her house after school. I was surprised to see many famous paintings there. she said to me: "Mike, I know you love painting, if you really love it, you should be {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (积极的) to learn more about it, don't give up." Then I took {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (参与) in our school art club. And finally I went into a top university. I thanked Margaret a lot and I also felt so {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (自豪的) of myself.

    Every year in early October, Albuquerque International Balloon Festival is h{#blank#}1{#/blank#} in Albuquerque, the biggest city in New Mexico. Because of the great number of balloons, it is the world's l{#blank#}2{#/blank#} ballooning event. For more than 30 years, guests from all over the world come to Albuquerque in October to celebrate ballooning. In 2018, over 900, 000 people a{#blank#}3{#/blank#} this event. There were over 500 balloons in the event with over 1,000 pilots. When h{#blank#}4{#/blank#} of colorful balloons flew up high, the sky of Albuquerque became a moving cartoon. It was full of colors and special characters. It was a time when d{#blank#}5{#/blank#} came true and romance filled the sky. Grown-ups and children were amazed and joyful during the balloon festival.
