Dogs show off their skills

    Dogs can be good friends of people. They can also be in dog shows!

    Well, the US held the 141st Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show(威斯敏斯特犬种大赛){#blank#}1{#/blank#}New York City on February 13, 2017. This is the{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(two) oldest sporting event in the US.

    To take part in this show, a dog must be 100 percent one kind of breed(品种).

    On the day of the show,{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(own) try their best{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(make) their dogs look{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(well). Then, they show their dogs to the audience(观众) and judges(裁判). The judges are looking at everything, how a dog acts, their fur(毛发) and more.

    To be in dog shows like this, it{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(cost) around $50,000(about 330,000 yuan) to $100,000 a year. So{#blank#}7{#/blank#}do people do it?

    Some do it to teach people about dog breeds, while{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(other) want to make some money. But they must{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(love) their dogs a lot because they spend so much time and money{#blank#}10{#/blank#}them.

    It was a very special day because Dylan Terry came to the West End Children's Home！Dylan Terry is my favourite{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(sing). I like him because he sings{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(wonderful). He's cute and he helps the kids a lot.

    We{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(stand) near the door, waiting for him. Everyone was very excited. Finally, he arrived{#blank#}4{#/blank#}shook hands with us. He was so nice! He sang several songs for us. Some of us even started dancing{#blank#}5{#/blank#}he was singing. We were having a great time!

    {#blank#}6{#/blank#}our surprise, Dylan joined us for lunch .He brought us{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(an) big cake. Everyone ate some and{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(they) was delicious. While we were eating, Dylan told us many interesting{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(story) about himself. I never thought I could talk to my favourite pop star. It was just like a dream. I {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(remember) this unforgettable experience forever.
