In 2012, I had just become better from a serious illness when I received an invitation to a writer's conference in Orlando, Florida. My family suggested that a h{#blank#}1{#/blank#}might be just what the doctor orders, so off I went.

    I was rather t{#blank#}2{#/blank#}, arriving in the Sunshine State, but I managed to catch a taxi to my hotel and settle in. The next morning, I took another taxi to the shopping centre to buy a few gifts. Later I went to a café to have lunch, but all the tables were full of people. Then I heard a f{#blank#}3{#/blank#}voice saying, “You can s{#blank#}4{#/blank#}my table.”

I thankfully sat down with the old lady and we had a happy lunch together. As the m{#blank#}5{#/blank#}drew to a close, she asked how long I would be in Orlando. I had already told her that I hadn't hired(雇用) a car, and I hadn't realized how e{#blank#}6{#/blank#}taking taxis would be, after a while she said, “My dear, don't use any more taxis. I`m retired and it would be my pleasure to drive you wherever you wish.” I told her that I couldn't put her to that t{#blank#}7{#/blank#}, but she took no notice of my protests(反对). She asked me where I was staying and the next morning she was w{#blank#}8{#/blank#}at my apartment at the exact time to take me to Disney World. She spent some time with me before leaving me to explore(探索) alone. At the end of the day, she returned to take me back to where I stayed. I o{#blank#}9{#/blank#}her money but she refused to take any.

    I`ll never forget that wonderful lady who, through her kindness, f{#blank#}10{#/blank#}my short holiday in Florida with wonderful memories.

Dear Dad and Mom,

    We have been in Australia for three days. We're having a good time here. Australia is the sixth {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（large） country in the world. There is so much to see{#blank#}2{#/blank#} it is impossible for me to tell you everything. We are now living in a hotel. It is located（坐落于……）in the centre of Sydney, and our room has a wonderful view of the city. There are{#blank#}3{#/blank#}（much） big trees and beautiful flowers all over the city and it is great pleasure staying here.{#blank#}4{#/blank#} most enjoyable thing is to watch koalas sleeping in the tree.

    We {#blank#}5{#/blank#}（visit） many places of interest around Sydney yesterday and the day before yesterday. I'd like to spend more time here, {#blank#}6{#/blank#} Linda and May can't wait to see the coral reefs（珊瑚礁） in Cairns, so we are going to {#blank#}7{#/blank#}（fly） there tomorrow. It is said that words cannot describe the beauty of the colourful corals. Now we are busy {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（prepare） for the next trip to Cairns so that we will not hurry when we leave. We can enjoy {#blank#}9{#/blank#}（us） in Cairns this time tomorrow. I'm looking forward{#blank#}10{#/blank#}visiting the attractions there!
