If you want to study an interesting subject this summer, and improve your English at the same time, Highbury College is offering three very good courses. The first one is English Literature, and it mainly talks about writers in the 1900s. The second one is British Culture, and teachers will take students to some museums. The third one is Modem Architecture, and students can visit some of the city's most famous buildings.

    All the courses begin on 14 June and end on 12 July. Classes are from 9: 00 a. m. to 3: 30 p. m., so you have enough time for other activities in the long summer evenings. Fridays are free for you to have a rest because there are lessons on Saturdays and Sundays too.

    The price of each course is￡25. The price includes your accommodations (住宿) at the college, all books, all meals and full use of the library. But if you need to take the school bus, you need to buy tickets yourself.

    All the courses are for beginners, so don't worry if you know little about these courses. Come to join us, and I'm sure you will have an enjoyable summer!

    You may have heard of people who are allergic（过敏）to seafood, smoke or pets. But did you know that some people were allergic to Wi-Fi signals(信号)?

    Rose White, a 44-year-old woman from Britain, first found herself being allergic to Wi-Fi signals in 2015.She had a cough, heart trouble and great pains in her head when she stayed at the places covered with Wi-Fi signals.

    Rose has tried many ways to keep away from Wi-Fi signals. In the past six months, she either slept in her car or in tent which she had put up in the woodland and in the fields. She even tried sleeping in a shed(棚子). Being completely tired, Rose had no choice but to quit her job and moved 370 kilometers away from her home to avoid Wi-Fi signals, but failed. Because of the hard life, she got a stomach problem.

    She is now living in a small house in the rural(乡下的) area in England. There are far fewer Wi-Fi signals. However, the house, which belongs to her friend, will be sold to others, so she has to move again soon.

    Rose is planning to move to a more rural area. She is also planning to buy a camper van(野营车) so that she can drive away from Wi-Fi signals whenever she is feeling uncomfortable. As she can not work to make money, she has to raise money online. She is hoping to raise 15,000 pounds. So far, she has raised over 1,600 pounds. She still has a long way to go.

    Lao She wrote Teahouse in 1957. The play shows audience life in China between1898 and 1945. It takes place in a teahouse in old Beijing and it tells us the story of Wang Lifa and his customers. It asks us to see the teahouse as the centre of the neighborhood. Finally, it says farewell to old Beijing and its people

    The story starts in 1898 during the Qing Dynasty. It continues in 1916, and finally, it brings the audience to the end of the Anti-Japanese War, in 1945. After the war, Wang loses the teahouse and dies.

    Lao She was born in Beijing in 1899. His parents sent him to the Teacher's School in Beijing and he became a teacher. From 1924 to 1929 he taught Chinese to the English in London. He wrote many plays, novels and short stories. He was named a "People's Artist" and a "Great Master of Language". He was one of the greatest Chinese writers of the 20th century.

    In Lao She's Teahouse today, waiters bring tea to the customers and sell them delicious Chinese food. If you are fond of Beijing Opera, folk music, acrobatics or magic shows, you can enjoy them in the teahouse.
