    John went to spend his summer holiday in China with his parents last year. They visited some famous cities like Beijing, Guangzhou, Kunming and Shanghai. In Beijing he visited the Great Wall, Tian'anmen Square and the Palace Museum. They also went to the zoos and the parks. The weather was fine and cool. They had a good time in the parks. They also took lots of photos there. In Guangzhou, they visited some museums. They were very interesting but kind of crowded. In Kunming the weather is never too hot in summer. They visited the Stone Forest, the Golden Temple and EXPO Garden. They climbed the Xishan Mountain. In Shanghai they went to the beach and had great fun playing in the water.

    This is my father Wang Qiang. He is a doctor in a hospital. And this is my mother. She is Li Ping. She is a teacher in our school. She helps my brother and me at school. Who is the boy? He's my brother Wang Hao. He is the youngest(最小的)one in our family. We all like him very much.

    Where am I? Yes, I am between my father and my mother. This is my family, a big and happy family. I like my family very much.

    Once a king got two nice falcons(猎鹰) from his son. He had never seen such beautiful falcons before. He loved them so much and he ordered the best falconer to train them to fly.

    After several months, the king came to see how the training was going on. He found that one falcon had already been able to fly high in the sky, while the other was staying on the branch(树枝) of a tree quietly, just keeping still.

    The king called all his falconers together and ordered them to try every way they could to make the other falcon fly. But none of them succeeded. One day，while the king was taking walk in the forest, an idea came to his mind. Maybe someone who knew the natural environment well could solve this problem. He sent for a farmer who lived in the forest into his palace to train it at once.

    The next morning, the king saw the other falcon flying above in the sky freely. "It is unbelievable!" shouted the king. "How could you make it happen?"

    The farmer replied, "It's very easy. I just cut off the branch where the falcon rested."

    It is always the same to human beings. We all have "two flying wings" in our hearts as well, but we often seem not to notice them and stay where we are just for safety and comfort. We don't realize we can fly so high and freely until the "branch" we are resting on breaks.

Sue is a wonderful person with a kind heart. Since 2017, she1 disabled (残疾的) dogs through a project called Saving Dogs, Thanks to2 , the dogs have a hopeful future. 

Sue takes care of 560 dogs in a special shelter (庇护所). Most of the dogs3 because of disabilities. When people ask Sue4 she wants to help the disabled dogs, she explains that her father is also disabled and it encourages her to care for them. 

 Life at the shelter is happy for the dogs, But they5 only sit in the wheelchairs (轮椅) because they have diffculty walking. Recently, Sue got an idea6 their lives happier. She connected some barrels (水桶) together to build7 train for the dogs. In this way, they could ride around freely. The dogs looked so8 when they roole in the train. The villagers also enjoyed seeing the smiles9 their faces. " I was happy when I made it, " Sue said. 

"Taking care of these dogs is not easy, 10 seeing their happy faces makes it all worth. I know how much they need it, " Sue said.
