    Last Sunday, I accompanied two of my foreign friends, Tom and Mary, around Chengdu so that they could get a feeling of the amazed city. We began by touring Kuan Zhai Alley that is known for its traditional Chinese architecture. I know the area very good so I acted as their tour guide. For lunch, I tried some Chengdu fried sauce noodles. Tom thought that they were in particularly delicious. Soon before lunch, we went to the Research Base of Giant Panda to pay a visit to the pandas. Both Mary and Tom fall in love with the lovely pandas. We finished off the day by going shopping, and they bought some paper cuts as souvenir. It was fantastic day and I hope they will come to Chengdu again.

    Last Friday I saw the worst weather in years. In the morning, the sun was completely blocked so that I could see something clearly. I stayed at home, look outside. That came into sight was a flash of lightning. Seconds later, the noise of thunder broke the silent. Then a strong wind starts to blow into my room.     Our class organized a environmental protection activity in the park in this morning. When we arrived there, we collected the throwing rubbish, such as waste paper, plastic bag and bottles.     In order to leave some fun memories for all of us before graduation, our class made the special video to express our appreciation to our school.     A video told a story about how a parent swallow taught its lazily child. It was time for the young to fly away and feed it. However, the young refused to leave the net. The mother bird tried to drive it away but it refuses to move. At the same time, another swallow kept fly back to feed the young, but every time stopped by the other.

    All the parents' efforts were in vain. Three day later, they gave up to their net with the young in it. Fortunately, the young were adopted by humans, and fed. At last, a bird flew into the sky but disappeared in the distance.
