Jim is a boy. He's twelve years old. He has a twin(孪生)brother，Ben. They look the same，but they have different hobbies. Jim likes reading books and listening to music，but Ben likes playing sports.

    Jim is tall，he is 1.58 meters. Ben is 0.02 meters taller than Jim. Jim is sad，because he isn't good at sports. But Ben can run faster and jump higher than him. Ben is also not happy. He's worried about his maths.

    So they begin to help each other. Ben usually plays basketball with Jim after school. And Jim often helps Ben with his maths. Now Jim is stronger than before. Ben's maths is as good as Jim's. Both of them become better and better.

    Look at the picture. It's small, but it' s new. This is my school. It's big and nice. This is our classroom. We read and write in it. This is our library.

    We can read it. This is the hall. We can sing and dance in it. And that's the playground. We can play basketball there.

    It is 12 o'clock. The students are in the classroom. They are having a break (休息). Linda is drawing a horse. Ann is helping her. They can draw very well. Ben is playing his drum. It's noisy! I don't like this noise. Sally is singing an English song. She is good at singing. She wants to be a singer(歌唱家). Sandy is eating some French fries(薯条). They are nice. I can see a sign on the wall, it .says, "Don't chase in the classroom."

    This is my school day. I get up at 6:30 in the morning. Then I have breakfast at seven. I go to school at 7:30. It's eight o'clock. It's time for class. I have English class at 9:00 every day. Miss Lin is my English teacher. I like her very much. It's 4:00 now. It's time for PE class. I clean the classroom at 5:10. Then I go home at 5:30. I can't watch TV in the evening. I go to bed at nine.

    At the Christmas party, Bill tells Xiao Yu a story about his friend. My friend Ricky has a sister Kitty. One day they both have an invitation for Parents' Day at their schools.

    Kitty says, "Let me give the two cards to Mum and Dad." But Ricky says, "No, let me give the cards to them." They both want to get the cards. Oh, no! They tear(撕破) each card in two. They feel bad.

    They quickly stick(粘贴) the cards back together and give them to Mum. "Mum, here are our invitation cards for Parents' Day."

    It's Feb. 16th. Mum and Dad say to them, "We're going to Parents'" Day now. See you.

    But Mum and Dad come back soon. It's not Parents' Day at Ricky's school today. Kitty says, "Sorry, it's my Parents' Day today, from 3:00 to 3:30."

    Dad says, "it's 2:30 now. Be quick! There's still time to get to Kitty's school" They run out of the house.
