Every year, more than nine million people all over the world come to visit London. They go to the museums and theatres; they look at interesting old buildings or have a drink in a park.

    A quick and easy way to get to different places in the city is to take an underground train. The London underground is one of the best and most widely used transport networks（网状组织）in the world. The trains run all day and most of the night. (3)You'd better not take the underground between eight o'clock and ten o'clock in the morning, or four o'clock and six o'clock in the afternoon. (4) The trains are so crowded that you can hardly move or find a place to sit.

    London's famous red buses form a big part of getting around in London. Although the London underground is the fastest and the simplest way of getting around London, the buses play their part and are an experience you should try at least once. By sitting on the top deck (层) of the bus, you can get a great sightseeing (观光的)  experience of London as well.

    Some special visitors' buses take you to many of the interesting places in the city on one journey.  It takes about one and a half hours, but you can cancel your journey and get off (and on again) at the different places you want to visit.

    London taxis are called "black cabs”. Most of them are black, but some are not. You can stop one if it has a "For Hire (供租用的)n sign on it. The drivers are friendly and helpful.

    In a word, London is a big and beautiful city with Lots to see and to do. Welcome to London.

    Everyone wants to relax (放松) after working or studying for a long time. I have many ways to relax. Let me tell you some of my favorites.

    I am a big sports fan (迷). So I often watch or play many kinds of sports. But my favorite is football. I find it really cool.

    I usually listen to music in my free time. My favorite is some beautiful piano music. Some people can't do things well when listening to music, but for me, it is not the case, I think I can study better with my favorite light music.

    I also like visiting places of interest in China and in other countries, and enjoying nice food there. It helps me to know more about various people and places.

Overuse of these tools will make students too lazy to think and write. Some students even forget the hand writing of Chinese characters. Teachers and parents have been very worried about it. What can they do?

But on {#blank#}3{#/blank#}, you can go there from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. For tickets, the price of the adults is {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Children over 12 is 1 yuan.  Children under 12 is free. When you visit the zoo, you can't touch, {#blank#}5{#/blank#} or go near the animals!

The moon landing

    It's always been man's dream to fly like a bird in the sky. Back in 1865, a French writer once wrote about man's landing on the moon on a special airplane with three people inside, and the first person to touch the ground on the moon would be American. That was considered (被认为) to be a crazy (疯狂的) idea at that time. Over one hundred years later, on July 20, 1969, however, this impossible dream did come true.

    It was a big day in the history of the 20th century. On that day, a special airplane took three brave (勇敢的) men from Cape Kennedy at a speed of 35,533 feet per second. The trip to the moon took 103 hours and 30 minutes. In fact, it was the first time that man ever "walked" in outer space. On the trip, two of the spacemen spent two hours on the moon walking like flying, and the other stayed in the spaceship. They studied the appearance of the moon. Four days later, the spaceship Apollo 11, returned to the earth and the astronauts were welcomed by people around the country. The man who took the first step, Neil Armstrong, said, "That's a small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind." This has been said again and again in every language around the world since then.
