They put up an advertisement before the day. Then on that day they put out all the old (thing) in front of their houses. These things are (usual) cheap.

    It is good way for people (clean) up their houses. Besides (此外), they can get a little money by (sell) these things. Sometimes if the things are very old, people will (give) them to the charity (慈善机构). Some kids sell their old toys. Maybe they played the toys many times and now they feel (boring). With the money they can buy a new toy!
