China has the largest population in the world. The large population has caused many {#blank#}1{#/blank#} /′səʊʃl/ problems for the whole nation. For example, there is {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (little) living space for each family. And it is not easy {#blank#}3{#/blank#} find jobs. It's also hard for China to {#blank#}4{#/blank#}/sə′plaɪ/ energy and water to satisfy people's daily needs. Most cities are more crowded {#blank#}5{#/blank#} before, and the traffic is much heavier. {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (nature) environments are becoming {#blank#}7{#/blank#}/wɜ:s/. China has taken many measures to control the population. And the measures have worked well in it. {#blank#}8{#/blank#}, our government still faces a serious population problem. So we have a long way to go.

    It is necessary to relax ourselves after the exam. There are some kinds of  activities for us to take part in. First of all, we can go for a w{#blank#}1{#/blank#} along the bank of the river. We can also go to the movies or listen to music. What's more, joining in a sports club is a good c{#blank#}2{#/blank#}, which can keep us healthy. For example, p{#blank#}3{#/blank#} football in the afternoon may relax ourselves. Above all, we should arrange(管理) our time p{#blank#}4{#/blank#} and live a regular(规律的) life.     Waste can be seen everywhere and it can bring a lot of problems. China is rich in some resources(资源), {#blank#}1{#/blank#}we are short of other resources like fresh water. It is said {#blank#}2{#/blank#}we will have no coal(煤) or oil to use in 100 years. Also there is not enough food in some areas.So if we keep {#blank#}3{#/blank#}our resources, what can we use in {#blank#}4{#/blank#}future and where can we move? Think about it, I think we should say "no" to the people {#blank#}5{#/blank#} waste things every day.

    In our {#blank#}6{#/blank#} life, we can do many things to stop waste from happening. For example, remember to turn {#blank#}7{#/blank#} the lights when we leave the room and we'd better use both {#blank#}8{#/blank#} of paper. Also we should try not to order {#blank#}9{#/blank#}food than we need. Little by little, everything will be changed, waste can be stopped one day {#blank#}10{#/blank#}we do our best.

    A long time ago, there was a dishonest (不诚实的) bread {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (sell) at the village market. She arrived early to get a good place and put her box of bread under the market tree. Then she went {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (hide) somewhere not far away.

    Several minutes later, a meat seller arrived and sat down. She was {#blank#}3{#/blank#} because she didn't have breakfast that morning. She noticed the bread and wondered who it belonged {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. "Whose bread is this?" she shouted. Nobody answered, so she shouted again and again. Finally she thought that there was no {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (own), so she took some of the bread to eat.

    After {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (see) this, the bread seller came up to the meat seller, "Because you {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (take) some of my bread, you must give me some meat to pay {#blank#}8{#/blank#} it," she said. The meat seller refused, so the bread seller called other sellers to help her.

    The other sellers came and stood by the two women. They listened to their stories in {#blank#}9{#/blank#} to decide who was right. At last, they found that the bread seller left the bread there to trick (欺骗) the meat seller, so the meat seller didn't need {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (pay).
