One day a man bought a lot of coconuts（椰子）and put them all on his horse. He was moving them to his {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(friend) house. On the way, the man met a boy.

    "How long would it take to get to the house?" he asked the boy.

    "If you go{#blank#}2{#/blank#} (slow)," the boy said, "you will get there very soon. But if you go fast, it will take you all day."

    "What a funny reply!" said the man. He did not listen to the boy. He made his horse run as fast as possible. Some coconuts fell off. He had to stop{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(pick)them up. Then he made his horse run fast again. But the coconuts fell off again, and he{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(stop) again.

    He did this many{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (time), and it was night when he finally got to the place.

    Once upon a time, there was a poor boy called Dick. One day, he decided {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(go) to London and find a job.

    When he arrived {#blank#}2{#/blank#}London, a rich businessman gave him a job and said," If you work hard for me, you {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(have) enough food." Dick worked very hard and he was happy every day.

    There was a problem though! At night, many {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(mouse) ran around the room and kept him awake. So Dick went out and found the  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(fast) cat in London! The cat did a good job. Dick could sleep at night at last.

    The businessman heard about the amazing cat. He asked Dick if he could take it on his ship to catch rats on his {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(five) journey. Dick agreed,{#blank#}7{#/blank#}he was very sad to see the cat leave.

    Soon {#blank#}8{#/blank#}businessman returned with the cat. He was very happy and said," The cat caught all of the rats on the ship and I could had a very good sleep at night. {#blank#}9{#/blank#}a brave cat !" The businessman gave Dick a lot of money as a reward.

    Dick worked even harder than before for the businessman and learned everything he could. Finally, he started a very {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(succeed) business of his own.

Eat hot dogs for dinner, and turn {#blank#}8{#/blank#} the lights and tell some ghost stories. Enjoy a movie marathon. Sit on a sofa and watch a movie together on {#blank#}9{#/blank#}cold day. Try finding some {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (fun) movies which your kids haven't seen, or putting together old favorites to create a funny theme.
