Howard Carter was a famous explorer. During his life, he {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (discover) many important and exciting things. In 1891, he went to Egypt {#blank#}2{#/blank#} ship. By the 1920s, he had become {#blank#}3{#/blank#} explorer, looking for the tombs(坟墓) of the Egyptian {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (king). He found several important ones. In 1922, Howard Carter made his most important discovery of all. When Carter's team was {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (work) at a place near a city called Luxor, they found {#blank#}6{#/blank#} tomb of King Tutankhamun.

    Not long after the tomb was {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (open), people in Carter's team began to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (get) ill and die strangely. Within seven years, 21 people {#blank#}9{#/blank#} had something to do with the opening of the tomb  {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(die). However, Howard Carter lived on and died at the age of 65.
