 Maybe you have never been to a rainforest, so why should you protect them  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}  ?  Rainforests are important to everyone. They are important because the plants in the rainforests make oxygen . We need oxygen to breathe.

    When a private plane flew off course some time ago, it crashed in the mountains and its pilot was killed. A young woman and her two baby sons, the only {#blank#}1{#/blank#}, were unhurt. It was the middle of winter. Snow {#blank#}2{#/blank#}thick on the ground. The next day, she {#blank#}8{#/blank#} planes passing overhead and wondered {#blank#}9{#/blank#}she could send a signal. Then she had an idea. She stamped out the {#blank#}10{#/blank#} "SOS" in the snow. Eventually, a pilot saw the "SOS" and arrived on the scene to rescue the survivors.

    Do you always {#blank#}1{#/blank#} with your teachers? Sometimes you have a different answer to a math problem. Or perhaps they scold (训斥) you when you don't think you did anything {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. What do you do then?  A story said that more and more students are speaking out and even quarrelling {#blank#}3{#/blank#}their teachers.

    It's good for students to say what they think. In the past,{#blank#}4{#/blank#}Chinese students dared speak back to their teachers. It was a rule that what the teachers {#blank#}5{#/blank#} is always right. But now students are beginning to think more by themselves and dare to say {#blank#}6{#/blank#} they want.

    But students should choose the{#blank#}7{#/blank#}way to speak out. We should {#blank#}8{#/blank#} teachers. They are older than you and have more experience. So, never {#blank#}9{#/blank#}rude words when you don't agree with them.

    Try to find the right time to talk to your teacher. For {#blank#}10{#/blank#}, discuss the problem after class.
