I was coming home from school one afternoon when I {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（注意到） someone watering plants on a balcony（阳台）. Below the flat I saw a girl {#blank#}4{#/blank#}（路过） by. Fearing that the plant would land on her. I {#blank#}5{#/blank#}（冲） toward the girl and pushed her away. The girl fell hard on the ground. A little while later there was a loud.{#blank#}6{#/blank#}. A flower pot fell and broke into several {#blank#}7{#/blank#}（片）. I looked up and saw a man look down and hurriedly go inside. The girl stood shocked. Two policemen on their rounds nearby {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（听见）the sound. I told the policemen what I saw.

    The policemen went up to the flat and brought a man down for questioning. Some {#blank#}9{#/blank#}（陌生人） told the policemen what {#blank#}10{#/blank#}（发生）. The policemen were very impressed by my quick reaction（反应） which saved the girl's life.
