    Popular science books is what we need most. Usually popular science books explain basic principles of nature in a simple and interesting way. They helped us understand science better and arouse our curiosity scientific discoveries.

    In addition to read for knowledge, we read for fun and inspiration. That is why I recommend other category of books: literary books. Classic works, written by masters, present great thoughts through fascinated stories and language. They not only offer us a joy and excitement, but also encourage us to think critical.

    One day I went with my dad to a store near our home. Just inside the door stood the most beautiful bicycle I have ever seen. No other kids in our town rode one like it.     While sit in the dentist's waiting room yesterday, I saw another patients come out from an appointment. It seems that she was unable to balance. I stood up and reached out my arm to help him. She called someone pick her up. I stayed and talked about her until the dentist was called me in. Sometime I fall into the trap of thinking I need to do something bigger to lead a meaningful life. However, it's the little things which matter.

    My father and I stayed at the South Lake Hotel for a week when we visit Beijing last month. It is in the downtown area, but it is easy to go to anywhere from the hotel by public transport .We lived in a comfortably double-room with a big bath. What I liked best were the free high-speed Internet connection in the room. I checked my email messages every day. I also shared for my friends many photos taking in Beijing. The food was wonderful with reasonable prices, and we enjoyed several local dish.

It is such great hotel that I would recommend it to any friend of me who is going to Beijing.

    I am very glad to hear of you. Knowing that you are interested in the Ancient Poetry Recitation Contest being organized by our school, I am very pleasing to tell you more details about it.

    The contest was hold in our school gym from Oct.7th to Oct.10th, aiming to arouse our enthusiasm for the Chinese traditional culture. So fascinating and interesting the contest that a lot of students entered for it. The contest included reading and reciting and I participated in all. I have had a deeper understanding about the ancient poems but I am motivated to improving my writing ability.
