    Yesterday I stepped into a restaurant for lunch. As I was waiting my order to come, I noticed the old man in a wheelchair roll himself over to a table. No one and me seemed to notice him. I got up and go over to his table and asked if that I could get him something to drink. He smiled and said," Thank you. You are generously. I'd like any orange juice, please."When I was getting ready to leave, I walked by the old man's table to saying goodbye. He thanked me again and told me I had made his days, coming over and helping him out. I gave him a hug and told him he had made my day, either.

    It's not the people you came across in your daily life who will stand by you in time of a need. It's your family who will but it's important to know that. It happens such often that we end up take our parents for granted. We hurt them many cases and they are treated with disrespect for not understanding them. It's necessary to understand the fact that there is always different in opinions across two generations. But what really matters is the unconditionally love and care that they hold for us, that I believe is truly valuable.

    I was reading an article in a book while I came across a word I didn't know. “Dad, what is the meaning of the word?” My dad, as he usual did after work, was watching his most favorite show. “You have the dictionary, don't you?” he shot back. He didn't even look up my face. I went back my room, and there on my study table is that dictionary. I looked it up and found it's exact meaning. Ten year have passed and I still use that dictionary, along with the lesson I received earlier in life from my old man: to be independent.

    My little cousin is greatly interesting in science. And he does some dangerous experiments sometimes. Although his parents want to encourage him to be great scientist, at times they worry about his safety. Last week, if my cousin was doing an experiment, he hurts his thumb. My aunt felt sadly and wanted him to stop from doing that experiment. However, my cousin didn't want to give up. She said, “Many scientists got hurt when they were doing experiments, so they didn't give up.” My aunt had to let him finish the experiments and he finally succeeded in finish it.
