    I am interesting in spiders (蜘蛛), so this summer I watched them for quite long lime. Spiders don't look beautifully, but they have their own way of killing flying insects. They often build “bridges” between branch. They climb up a branch slowly, pulling some silk. Then they pull the silk towards another branch. When they built many “bridges”, they begin to form webs. As long as insects happen to touch the webs, no matter what hard they try, they can't escape. One day, there was a stronger wind, and the webs were broken, but the spiders still went on to building their “bridges”. They are not afraid with difficulties. As students, we should learn from it.

    Today Mr. Zhang, our English teacher, told us what to improve our English writing skills. The ability to write in English is becoming increasing important in English communication as well as in examinations. Thus, it was worth focusing our attention on.

    In order to write the good essay we should have an excellent command of over 2,000 frequently-used English word. It's necessary and useful for them to read or even recite beautiful English articles. Beside, as the saying goes, that "Practice makes perfect", so we should take every possible chance to write in English.

    According my personal experience, keep a diary every day is a good means to achieve the aim.

    In a rainy day, Tate shouted again, "The river is flooding and I can't swim. Help!" The children didn't believe her this time. But a girl saw everything and called the others to save him. Tate was not sorry for playing tricks on his friend. So from that day on, Tate never did that again.

    Last weekend, I went to visit my English teacher, who was already in his fifty. He gives me a lot of help when I was a junior middle school student. Delighting to see me, he asked my senior middle school life. Then he advised me to make fully preparations for the coming entrance examination. It was so a pleasure to see him again that I didn't notice it was pretty later. I had to say goodbye to each other.

    He is not only a good teacher but my close friend. Wherever I will go, I will always treasure a time that I spent with my teacher.

    I feel betray by my friend Hannah. On Monday, we had a surprise math quiz. I must have sounded very proud of me after the quiz, saying what easy it was. The next day after class, my math teacher told me that I had lowest grade in the class. I was very upset that I felt like crying. I thought that Hannah should have told my classmates about my grade after promise not to. I was so angry that I went straight to Hannah and told her we weren't going to be friends any more because she couldn't keep her words. She was really upset and swore that she hasn't told anyone, but I didn't believe her explanation. I don't think I can ever truly forgive to her.
