    My name is Kitty. I am 12. My birthday is on October 12^th. I am from America. I'm in Class 3, Grade 7. We learn Chinese at our school. Our Chinese teacher's name is Wang Hao.

    Here are some of my friends. Jimmy is tall and he has black hair. He is good at playing basketball. He is in the Basketball Club. May is short and she wears glasses and a yellow dress. She likes English very much and is good at speaking English. Sally is a black girl. She has short hair. She likes swimming. She swims best in the swimming team.

    Too many people want others to be their friends, but they don't give friendship back. That is why some friendships don't last very long. To have a friend, you must learn to be one. You must learn to treat your friend the way you want your friend to treat you. Learning to be a good friend means learning three rules: be honest, be generous(慷慨的), be understanding.

    Honesty is where a good friendship starts. Friends must be able to hones' one another.

    ①如果你不说实话，人们通常都会识破。If a friend finds out that you haven't been hones', you may lose your friend'.

    Generosoity means sharing and sharing makes a friendship grow. You don't have to give your lunch money or your clothes, of course. Instead you have to learn how to share things you enjoy, like your hobbies and your interests. Naturally  you will want to share your ideas and feelings. These can be very valuable to a friend. They tell your friend what is important to you ③________.

    Sooner or later everyone needs understanding and help with a problem. Something may go wrong at school. ④Talking about the problem can make it easier to solve. Turning to a friend can be a first step in solving the problem. So to be a friend, you must listen and understand. You must try to put yourself in your friend's place so you can understand the problem better.

    ②No two friendship are ever exactly alike. But all true friendships have three things in common. If you plan to keep your friends, you must practise honesty, generosity and understanding.

Money VS Family

    Rama's family is very big. He has three kids, two sons and a daughter.

    He works for more than 16 hours a day. The kids cannot see him as he leaves home early in the morning before they wake up, and he reaches home around midnight when kids have slept every day. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

    Though Rama's family is one of the richest families in the city, he still works so hard. One day, Rama's family went to their beach house to spend their vacation. His daughter asked, "{#blank#}2{#/blank#}"

    Rama replied, "Yes, my dear, tomorrow for sure, {#blank#}3{#/blank#}I'm tired of work and need refreshment!"

    The whole family became very happy.

    Unfortunately, the next day, none in Rama's family were alive as they were washed out in the tsunami(海啸)!

    {#blank#}4{#/blank#} When he tried to reach his beach house, he saw sea and water everywhere and screamed for his family. He could not even find the dead bodies of his family.

    {#blank#}5{#/blank#}He remembered his wife's words, "Why are you running for money? We can be happy with what we have now."

    Mr. Guo is a teacher from Xi'an. He asked his students to hand in their homework through a QR code(二维码). "We spent an hour or two in class learning how to generate(使产生) the codes, and in the end everything gets easier." Said Guo, "When students finish the homework, they keep it on WeChat. Then, each student makes his own QR code and gives it to me. So I can check their work anywhere using my computer or telephone."

    The QR codes can be sent to Mr. Guo by email, QQ and WeChat. When Guo scans(扫描) his students' QR codes, their homework appears on his phone. He finds that their homework becomes more creative, with many pictures, music and even videos.

    Guo's students like the new way and think it is interesting. "We are living in the information age. Many students like to work with computers, which makes learning more fun." Said Tingting, a student of Guo's. "The paper is not easy to keep, but the code is easy to keep and share." Guo said, "It is worth trying to use new technology in education. Education itself is a kind of creation. I don't want my students to fall behind the times."

    However, some parents are worried. They are afraid that their children will spend too much time on computers and less time communicating with teachers. But in fact, it's unnecessary. Students still need to look up information in books and write it down when they do their homework. They only use the codes when they hand in their work, which doesn't take them too much time. Also for teachers, it allows them to check the students' work at any time. And it's also an easy way to share homework with other students.

    The table above shows the sleeping patterns (模式) of people doing {#blank#}1{#/blank#} jobs. It is clear that there are big differences among them. For example, students continuously (连续地) sleep for {#blank#}2{#/blank#}each night because they go to school during the day. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} are busy and stressed out, so they only sleep for 6 hours. But they also sleep continuously during the night. Truck drivers sleep 6 hours and doctors sleep the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} hours among the five. However, because of their jobs, they have to divide their bedtime into different periods. Finally, {#blank#}5{#/blank#} mothers sleep when their babies do. They often have to wake up during the night to comfort (安抚) their babies. It is important to consider sleeping patterns when choosing a job.

They are planning to replace people on Earth, and they enter Earth through the lake. When someone goes into the lake, an alien takes over that person's body.

{#blank#}3{#/blank#} The Lake is an entertaining science fiction movie. It's a movie that was made for TV, and it's surprisingly good for a TV movie. There is plenty of action to keep viewers on their seats.

{#blank#}4{#/blank#} Yasmine Bleeth's performance is OK as the nurse and main character of the story. The other actors are also all right. But the best performance of the movie is from Haley Joel Osment. He was only 10 years old at that time. He later became when started in the movie The Sixth Sense with Bruce Wills

{#blank#}5{#/blank#} My only idea is that some of the characters are slow to figure out what's going on. It's disappointing because it makes the characters not very believable. The viewer figures out th truth long before the characters do.
