Susie Sunbeam was not her real name. It was Susan Brown. But everyone called 1 Sunbeam, because she had such a sweet, smiling face. She 2 took brightness with her wherever she went.     Wishing to encourage her young son's progress on the piano, a mother took her boy to a pianist's concert on a summer holiday evening. After they found their 1, the mother saw two friends in the hall and walked to 2 them.

    The porter took our boxes and we got on to the train. When we were comfortably seated in our places, my friend said, "I am sorry I said those things to you just now..." Just then the porter came and said, "Oh, sir, I recognized you immediately." "Really?" I Said6. "Of course," he said, "I recognized you and told the conductor that you" are Mr Smith, the mayor(市长) of New York city.

    One day Tony was crossing the road when he was hit by a car. He fell and broke his arm. An ambulance soon 1 and took Tony to a hospital. There a doctor operated 2 his arm. Then he put the arm in a cast(石膏铸件). Tony couldn't move it at all. "You must keep your arm in a cast for six weeks, "the doctor said. At the end of six weeks Tony went back to the hospital.
