    A college graduate was new in the job and she found something really strange. One of her colleague was a lazy man, who usually played his digital camera or listen to music during working time. To her surprised, the boss never blamed him because his behavior.

    Last Saturday I went to the library as usually. At about noon, I was enjoying my reading near a lake while suddenly I hear someone crying for help. I went up to see what was happened. I was shocking to find a little child struggling in the water in the distance while many peoples were standing by without doing anything. Without any hesitation, I had pushed through the crowd as I took off my coat, but jumped into the water quickly. I managed to reach him and carried him back to safety. To his great relief, the kid was saved.

    I am proud what I did. I hope everyone can give a hand when someone else is in need.

    A young couple bought a big house from two sisters, whom had lived there for 30 years. The house was nice and the couple bought it at low price.

    However, winter wasn't far away at the time. The couple was a little bit worrying about how they would keep the house warm, since it didn't have any fireplaces. And later, they thought that if the sisters were able to stay warm and comfortably in the house during the winter, so could they. With that in mind, they decided not to make any preparations for the cold weather.

    To increase the aware of protecting the environment, last Saturday we, some volunteers, carried out environmental protection activity in the Civil Square.

    In the morning, we have gathered at the school gate at 7：00. Then we walked to the square, when we were divided into several groups. Some collected the rubbishes on the square, some cleared the old posters off the walls, and another swept the ground. The duty of my group is to deliver environmental protection brochures and introduces the importance of environmental protection.

    Time passed quickly. It was getting late after we knew it and the square looked more beautifully. Tiring as I was, I was very happy because we did do something to protect the environment.

    Recently, one of my friends have sent me a short message, say that true friends are one soul in two bodies, which moves me very much and makes me think how true friendship is.

    Nowadays, the word friendship has been used very often that it has lost its meaning. Some jokingly put it that friends are made to be taken advantage. In my opinion, true friendship doesn't mean that you need your friends help, you'll treat them to dinner. True friendship is the communication of the hearts and understand of the souls. True friends keep you in the mind, no matter where they are. Once you have found such true friends, do treasure him. With friendship, life proves happily and harmonious.
