When I told my Mends l was going to move from the city to the countryside，they couldn't believe it．I was {#blank#}1{#/blank#}because I'd never been out of the city before．Would {#blank#}2{#/blank#}be very different? Well, see for yourself．

    Many things are different about the city and the countryside．In the city, I {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.in a tall apartment building with my parents．Our building was filled with people, but I only knew a few of {#blank#}4{#/blank#}．Now we live in an old farmhouse．Our nearest neighbors are about one kilometer away．But all the neighbors are {#blank#}5{#/blank#}．They often come to visit us with lots of food．

    However, some things in the city and the countryside are the {#blank#}6{#/blank#}．In the city, my mom and I {#blank#}7{#/blank#}to go shopping on the weekend．We went to different shopping centers．

Here in the countryside we {#blank#}8{#/blank#}shop in farmers' markets on the weekend．The greatest thing that is the same is friends．I made some good friends in both the city and the countryside．We do homework and read {#blank#}9{#/blank#} together every day．

    When I think about the most important things,  {#blank#}10{#/blank#}family and friends, maybe there aren't so many differences between the city and the countryside．Personally, I think they're both great．

    The most difficult thing for university student Shaun Rogers is opening the classroom door by {#blank#}1{#/blank#} . Shaun can't do this without help because he is only six years old. He's the {#blank#}2{#/blank#}person ever to study at Rochester University in New York. Shaun began {#blank#}3{#/blank#} at two and by the age of five he had read many books and was able to finish writing his first book. "I love learning", says Shaun." My hero is the scientist Albert Einstein. He never combed (梳理) his hair or {#blank#}4{#/blank#} socks."

    Shaun's mother first recognize that her son was different when he kept crying at playschool because he was bored with the {#blank#}5{#/blank#} games. She started teaching him at home after finding that local schools {#blank#}6{#/blank#} not prepared for children who learned at Shaun's speed. Now Shaun is studying geography at the university and using the Internet to finish his high school studies. However, some scientists {#blank#}7{#/blank#} that too much study can stop a child from developing {#blank#}8{#/blank#} . "I don't care how clever the kid is. A six-year-old boy has to play with their friends," says Dr. Brain Wood. Mrs. Rogers disagreed that all her son's time was {#blank#}9{#/blank#} up by schoolwork. "He loves playing the violin and has many{#blank#}10{#/blank#} such as camping, fishing and swimming, just like other boys of his age."
