    Cars are everywhere. In big city and small towns, the preferred method of transportation is the automobile. People can get to where they need to go quickly and easy, and it has given a new kind of freedom to many people who may not have experienced it ago. But was driving really the best thing for our society? I argue that it is not. First, pollution was a serious problem, and more cars only make them worse. There is just not way to reduce pollution without decrease the number of cars on the road. Second, cars are very dangerous. Traffic accidents are responsible tens of thousands of deaths every year. Finally, cars are so expensive for most people to afford. However, that doesn't stop low-income families from spending the most of their money to pay for the family car.

    Last Saturday I went to the Great Wall with some of my friends.In our way up,we saw many volunteers working in the sun.They helped the elders with their bags,took photo for some tourists and answered people's questions.Because they were very tired,they didn't stop to have a rest.Just at the moment,we saw a little boy standing alone,cried.We went over and asked what is the matter.From his answer we knew he couldn't find her mother.We told him not to worry and then we tried to get in the touch with his mother with the phone number he had given us.     My soccer coach retired in last week．I wanted to do anything special for him at his retirement party．My mum makes the better biscuits in the world，so I decide to ask her for help．Mum taught me some basic step of baking．I insisted on doing most of the baking myself. I thought the biscuits were really well．My only mistake was that I dropped some on the floor after I was packing them up．

    At a party, my coach, with a biscuit in his mouth, asked surprisingly who made them and joked, "I might have to retire again next year just get some more of these biscuits.”

    My favorite picture at the party is of my coach and me enjoy the biscuits with happy laughter!

    Thank you for your concern. Well, I'm now taking the once-a-year college entrance examination. We are scheduled to attend the exam on June 7^th and 8^th, on the first day of that Chinese and math will be test, the second day physics, chemistry, biology and English.     The writing class had just began. Everyone was silent, wait to see who would be announce to read his or her paragraphs aloud. Some of us are confident to take part this class activity, while others were nervous. Though I had done my homework well, but I was afraid to speak before a large group of people. Dear Tom,

    How are you getting along? I don't think this is a good idea to travel a lot and visit as many place as possible. Last July Bell paid a visit on Europe. Europe was very beautiful, but his holiday wasn't very nicely. He visited several countries, and was in each of the countries for only three days. He visited a good many places of interest, but was always in hurry. Though he returned from Europe, he was very tired. So I suggest that you spent your holiday in a different way. We had better travel with a friend to one country and to visit only one city at a time. You'll be able to have a good time.
