In the village of Kila Raipur, people would like to take part in their unusual Olympics. Even though the villagers don't spend millions of dollars on the sport, these games seem to be much more fun than the real Olympics!

Now in its 77th year, the sport took place in the village Kila Raipur in an Indian state from January 31st to February 3rd. A villager by the name of Inder Singh Grewal wanted to organize an event which would allow farmers to show their skills, keep their culture and just have a good time.

Over the years, it has become popular and now includes not just the farmers, but also some of the world's finest athletes from 7 to 70 years of age. In keeping up with times, there are different modern sports, such as hockey and race and traditional ones such as tug-of-war and even Kabaddi.

However, the ones that interest the biggest crowds are the special sports like the bull(公牛)races. In the races, bulls run at high speed against each other, with athletes balanced on small carts(手推车). Then there is the game that challenges athletes to lift bicycles with their teeth. Another sport is using their teeth to pull a car. If that is not special enough for you to get excited about this, there is a competition that allows a tractor(拖拉机) to run over an athlete's body!

All in all, the sport not only tests the skills and strength of its athletes, but also cheers up people. The best part is that everyone, old or young, can take part in the sport. So it's no wonder that over 4,000 athletes and over a million watchers run into the small village of Kila Raipur, each year!

English is the first language of several countries. However, it has many differences. British, American, and South African English are all spoken differently. In many English language courses, the British and American differences are taught. One is not more correct than the other, but there are important differences between the two.

Probably the biggest difference between American and British English is the vocabulary. Different words and expressions are used to talk about the same thing. For example, in the United States, people throw their garbage into the trash can. In England, people throw their rubbish into the dustbin. In Britain, people take a lift to the fifth floor. In America, people take an elevator.

American and British grammar can be also different. For example, speakers of British English will ask "What did you do at the weekend?", but Americans usually say "on the weekend." In the United States people usually say "I've gotten a new car.", but in the UK they will say "I've just got a new car."

The pronunciation in American and British English is also different, even when the spelling is the same. The word "tomato"—pronounced "to-mah-to" in British English—is a classic example of this.

Vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation are three ways English is different in different parts of the world. Learning all these is not easy, so English learners should just know that they are always there.

Since May 1, 2015, Beijing started to allow blind people to take guide dogs (导盲犬) onto the subway(地铁). How much do you know about guide dogs? What can they do to help blind people?

Not every dog can become a guide dog. The most common guide dog breeds (品种) are Labrador Retrievers (拉布拉多猎犬) and Golden Retrievers (金毛猎犬). That's because they are smart and have a good temper.

To help blind people, dogs need to learn many skills, such as finding and following a clear road, moving around obstacles (障碍物), and stopping when they reach a curb (路牙) beside a road. Of course they should pass tests. They also need to learn an important lesson known as “intelligent disobedience (智能抗命)”. For example, blind people ask the dog to go forward when crossing a road. But if the dog knows that a car is coming, it will not move until it is safe.

At about 10 or 12 years old, guide dogs retire(退休). Some of them stay at their owner's home and become their pets. Others may go back to training schools and live there.

What can a guide dog do to help blind people?

• Follow a direct road, paying no attention to other things such as smells, animals and people.

• Keep a steady (稳定的) pace and just ahead of the owner.

• Stop at all curbs until the handler tells them to move forward.

• Stay quiet when the owner is sitting down.

• Help the owner to move around buses, subways and other public transportation.

Answer the following questions. (in no more than eight words)
