John: I'm making a birthday chart for our family. When's your birthday?

Grandma: It's in May.

John: That's fun. My mother's birthday is in May too. Are you on the same day?

Grandma: No, her birthday is on the fifth and my birthday is on the fifteenth.

John: When's Grandpa's birthday?

Grandma: It's in June.

John: There are three birthdays in June. They are Grandpa's, Uncle Bill's and mine.

Mum: Get up, Mike!

Mike: Mum, what time is it now?

Mum: It's eight o'clock.

Mike: Oh, it's time to go to school. I'm late.

Mum: Don't worry! It's Saturday today.

Mike: I forgot it（忘记）. What's the weather like today?

Mum: It's rainy.

Mike: Can I go to the library?

Mum: No, you can't. It's cold outside. It's only 2 degrees. You can read books at home.

Mike: OK, mum. Where's my schoolbag?

Mum: It's in your study.

Mike: Thank you, mum!

    One day an eagle met a seagull at the beach. The eagle thought it was bigger and stronger than the seagull. "I can fly higher than you. I'm the strongest bird in the sky. Let me show you around my country." it said.

    “Thank you. That's very kind of you." said the seagull.

    The eagle and seagull flew for an hour over a thick jungle. They could see many different animals and plants.

    “Look! This is the biggest jungle in my country. Is it big?" asked the eagle.

    “Yes, it's huge," said the seagull.

    Half an hour later they flew over a high mountain. This is the most beautiful place in my country, said the eagle. It's the highest mountain. The most dangerous animals live here.

    “It's fantastic!" said the seagull.

    The eagle wanted to see the seagull's country. “If you're not too tired, can you show me your home?" it said.

    “Yes. Sure! ”I'm not tired.”Said the seagull. They flew off over the sea. After five hours, the eagle was very tired.

    “Are you near your home yet?" it said.

    “Oh, no. It's still a long way sway," said the seagull. "This is only the beginning of the ocean!”

    Mike is tall. He is a hard-working student. He has a new schedule in the new term(学期)。On Mondays, he has Chinese, English, maths and music. He can play the pipa in music class. On Tuesdays, he has Chinese, maths, art and English. He often plays ping-pong after school. On Wednesdays, he has maths, science, Chinese and art. He can draw pictures in art class. On Thursdays, he has science and computer class. He often cooks dinner for his family after school. He likes vegetables very much. But, he doesn't like salad. On Fridays, he has music, PE, and Chinese. He often watches TV in the evening.

    On weekends, I visit my grandparents with my father and mother. In the morning, we usually go and have breakfast in the canteen. Then we have a big dinner at my grandfather's home. We go back to our home at 5:00.My father likes watching TV. My mother likes calling to her friends. I usually do my homework and read books.
